it’s perfect.

5 out of 5 stars

it’s perfect.
I ordered a Medium could have don’t a small too 5’3 Female. It’s perfect! Lots of space for extra items. I have a big otter box phone case I was worried it would not fit but it does. Everything stays in place while I’m running no bounce at all (main reason why chose this one) and not cheaper ones that bounce all over the place. I like that I can adjust the little “tightening loops” to which ever loop I want. I can move them up or down diagonal. I am very happy with my order

Worked great, mininimal if any bounce at all. Storage for phone keys and anything else small you may bring on a run or activity. Other pockets/space for gels or anything like that. Easily adjustable straps for comfort. I ordered the large I'm 6'4" 240 and fit well.

Everything fits great! The armholes are large so they don't chafe, and I can wear it comfortably during a run without any problems. Plus, it’s super lightweight (I followed the size chart). Once I’ve secured it with the front straps, it stays put and doesn’t wiggle around. I’m really impressed with the Osprey quality—I’ve never been disappointed with their materials and build. The hydration bottles are at the perfect height for me, and they’re easy to fill and clean. I also haven’t had any issues with my water tasting funny. I love all the pockets in the vest, and the zipper pocket fits my iPhone 17 without getting in the way of my arms or pits, even though the vest is a bit small for my chest. The back pocket, which runs the width of the back part of the vest, is great for a cap or a thin towel. I don’t really like putting anything back there because I feel like it gets extra sweaty when I do.

Overall: This is a very well made, lightweight and comfortable hydration vest!

The Good: This vest fits perfectly and you really barely notice you are wearing it!

The Excellent: There is very little bounce to this vest and what little there is can be controlled by adding additional tie strings!

The Not So Good: In my opinion, it could really use to include an extra tie string or two!

    The Very Ugly: Nothing!

Summary: Overall, this is a very well made and durable hydration vest. Yes, there are some at lower prices but in this case you get much more for the price!

Takes some adjustment but worth it.

The biggest feature to be aware of is the extra weight added by the water. There's two 500ml flasks that will definitely add around 2lbs. It doesn't seem like much but it is something to adjust to. (After the first time I used it, I could feel that some muscles in the chest and back area definitely had to be engaged because of that) Not only that, but you have to keep in mind the flasks won't be filled up at all times. This makes the water move a lot while you run. You have to adjust to that, and to the sound it makes. It seems like a lot a first, but I was used to it after a while.

Other than that, it's a very useful tool for running. I honestly love it. You have the water available at all times (you can drink from the flasks without having to take them off the vest). Also, the pockets were I can safely keep my keys and phone. The pockets snuggle whatever you put in, in a way that you don't feel like you are carrying anything. It's great,

The vest turned out to be a perfect fit for me. I got the Medium size. I'm 5'7", 145lbs. If you are taller or weight more than that, go for the large.

    Perfect Fit Running Vest!

I just got the Osprey Duro LT Men's Running Hydration Vest in size Small and it fits me absolutely perfectly. At 5'9" and 125 lbs, I've had issues with other running vests feeling too big or bouncy, but the Small is dialed in with zero excess material and a stable, close-to-body carry that stays put even on technical trails.

The vest is ultralight and minimalist, exactly what I wanted for fast runs and longer efforts. It comes with two 500 mL soft flasks that sit securely in the front harness pockets, plus plenty of stretch mesh pockets for gels, phone, keys, or a light jacket. The breathable mesh backpanel and adjustable sternum straps keep everything comfortable and bounce-free mile after mile.

Everything about it feels premium and well-thought-out — the materials are soft against the skin, the hydration sleeve is easy to access, and the overall design disappears once it’s on. I’ve already taken it out for several runs and it’s quickly become my go-to vest.

    Pros:

-True-to-size Small is an ideal fit for slim 5'9" / 130 lb builds
-Super stable and bounce-free even with full flasks
-Lightweight with smart pocket layout for essentials
-Includes two 500 mL soft flasks
-Breathable and comfortable for long runs

    Cons:

-None so far — it’s exactly the minimal, high-performance vest I was looking for.

If you’re a smaller-framed runner looking for a lightweight, stable hydration vest that actually fits right out of the box, the Osprey Duro LT in Small is outstanding. Highly recommended!

S-tier vest from an S-tier company.

Osprey continues to dominate the "carry" space, and the Duro LT is a testament to their focus on minimalist performance. It feels less like a backpack and more like a second skin. I'm 5'7", 150lbs, and a small fits beautifully.

    Pros
Zero Bounce: Even with both 500ml Hydraulics flasks topped off, the vest sits high and tight. The adjustable sternum straps are low-profile but effective.
Breathability: The mesh is incredibly porous. On a humid 10-mile trail loop, it didn't turn into a soggy heat trap.
Intuitive Storage: The front pockets are stretchy enough to cram in gels and a Sabre Red Pepper Gel without feeling bulky against your ribs. Pixel 9 Pro XL fit nicely in the passthrough rear pocket.

    Cons
The "LT" Means Lite: Don't expect to carry much beyond water and essentials. If you need a rain shell or heavy trekking poles, you'll run out of real estate fast.
Sizing: The Small fits very true to size—bordering on snug. If you’re between sizes or plan to wear a thick layer underneath, you might feel constricted.

Verdict: 5/5. This is an S-tier vest from an S-tier company. If you want to disappear into your run without gear distraction, this is the one.

TLDR: Great fit, looks good, lightweight, and hold just enough to keep you going!

This is a great fitting vest! It's been true to size and easy to use. At first, I was a little miffed at the hydration bottles as I'm use to a balder, but once I was using this on a trail, I realized that I should have been using something like this sooner. I didn't have to fumble with the hose anymore, I could just slightly turn my head and then bam – water! it was perfect. Little side pocket for phone (fits iphone pro max 17 with magsafe wallet attachment) and snack pockets are placed where it was super easy to grab stuff out while I'm on a move. I wasn't setting a PB with this yet, but I can see myself there soon as I get into the flow of using it more.

Also, can't beat the breathability! Love the mesh on the back as it helps keep the air moving and keeps me cool.
