I ordered this chest harness to complete a costume, and it ended up being one of the standout pieces of the entire outfit. It instantly added a dramatic accent that made the costume feel much more polished and authentic. The harness has a striking design with multiple shoulder and arm straps that create a strong visual impact. Whether you're putting together a fantasy, post-apocalyptic, steampunk, medieval-inspired, or cosplay costume, it adds a lot of character without requiring additional accessories. I was pleasantly surprised by how adjustable it is. It was easy to customize the fit, and once adjusted, it stayed comfortably in place throughout the event. The straps will accommodate a wide array of sizes and didn't feel overly restrictive. The PU leather material looks good in person and photographs well. From a normal viewing distance, it gives the appearance of real leather and complements a wide variety of costume styles. The hardware and stitching also appeared solid and held up well during wear. Another thing I liked was how versatile it is. Beyond the specific costume I purchased it for, I can see myself using it again for future cosplay events, themed parties, or Renaissance and fantasy-inspired outfits. Overall, this chest harness was a great addition to my costume. It looks impressive, fits comfortably, and adds a great finishing touch that helps elevate an outfit from basic to memorable.

    I got the chest harness for my partner. It looks cool from a distance, but takes some adjustment and is lacking a bit in quality. The faux leather is rather thin and the metal rivets and buckles feel cheap. In spots the excess strap receiver is held together with a metal staple. The arm bands have quite a bit of adjustment. The back buckle seemed short as it was on the last notch and he doesn't have broad shoulders. The shoulder straps seem to sit at an odd angle. Overall it's probably fine for occasional limited use. If it's something you'll be wearing all day at a festival, I'm not sure how well it will hold up. 3.5 stars

    what a mess – not for skinny people

    SO it came in a clear plastic bag, no instructions. No big deal, it was fairly intuitive, but nearly impossible to put on solo. I persisted and did eventually get it on, only to find out I'd been doing a thing or two wrong. Frustrated, I tossed it aside for a couple days. When I finally had the patience to fuss with it again I took a longer look, tried it a slightly different way, had better results. The harness is definitely NOT for skinny arms and shoulders. It's difficult to put on, mildly uncomfortable but does have a bit of visual appeal. I'm sure a guy built more like the photo would appreciate it but I don't know that I'll ever find a reason to go through putting it on a 3rd time. If I did I'd have to do a lot of strap cutting because with my skinny physique there was ample sticking out the other side of the buckles.

    This chest harness is definitely eye-catching—it has a strong punk/cosplay vibe with all the buckles, studs, and PU leather straps. Every strap is adjustable and buckles securely, so it feels solid and well-made. There’s no elastic or shortcuts here; it’s all real straps and hardware, which makes it look way more intricate than most costume pieces.

    That said, it arrived completely unbuckled, and putting it all together can be confusing if you’re doing it alone. I can see how this might be intentional for certain cosplay or play scenarios, but I personally found it a little overwhelming at first. Once I figure out the chest part, though, my husband will look like a mighty warrior—the design really stands out and makes a statement. My husband wears a size large T-shirt and everything fit him fine. There was room to go smaller or larger. I think he wants to wear it while he watches 300.

    For the price, it’s a steal considering the amount of work that clearly went into assembling all those straps and details. Definitely a cool accessory if you’re looking for something bold and elaborate.

    For reference I'm about 255lbs and 6'2" I did manage to get it on but it would have been nice if it were a little more adjustable for broad shoulder folks. The pu leather looks legitimate, everything on it seems to be well as well.

    The Mens Chest Harness Cosplay Top PU Leather Chest Shoulder Straps Body Harness is a very nice harness made from faux leather that fits well and gives the look of a leather harness. I like how it looks on the arms, and it is more elaborate Thant he typical harness. It sets off your arms nicely. The buckles up and down the arm bands are easy to use, but it may take a second person to help you fit it and get them set right the first time. I did it by myself and it took a while and was a bit frustrating, but I got it done. Overall, a good item for the price, and I like it!
