I bought this smartwatch mainly to count my steps. My doctor told me that the steps I take around the house or in the yard don’t really count toward my 8,000 steps. The “real” 8,000 steps are the ones I get when I actually go out for a walk. These watches are perfect for that.
The size and how neat they look—I fell in love at first sight. They’re also incredibly customizable. You can choose pretty much any activity to track calories. I even found squats as a separate exercise, which was nice.
They show your workout intensity (warm-up, light, moderate, etc.) and let you know if your heart rate gets too high.
Just don’t expect the blood pressure readings to be accurate. The first time I checked mine, I almost had a heart attack because I thought I had high blood pressure. Then I compared it with my home blood pressure monitor and realized the watch wasn’t even close. I think that feature is more for marketing than anything else.
I wear it when I go for my walks (to count those “real” 8,000 steps) and while I sleep. I love being able to see how long I slept and how good my sleep was.
The vibrating alarm is another feature I really appreciate. It wakes only me instead of waking up my husband and my child like my phone alarm does.
It’s also fun to keep an eye on my stress level—they track that too. 😄
There are so many other little features I love:
* Inactivity reminders
* Water reminders
* Camera remote—you can set your phone down, walk away, and take a picture right from your watch.
Overall, I’m really happy with this smartwatch. For what I wanted it to do, it’s absolutely perfect.
